Instead, you’ll need to carry your own tent and sleeping bag that can be set up on the flats of Dayara Bugyal. Balus village is the last village before starting the trek. It is also considered as the base camp for this trek.

Restaurants and food stalls are difficult to find as this elevation is not frequented by locals. Food and supplies are carried by the hikers themselves, and meals are prepared once the night camp is set up. A local cook can also prepare meals for his party on the trek. Apart from that, packaged food is also a good choice as it is easy to prepare.
Drive towards Chilianisaur to see the huge Tehri dam lake. From Uttarkashi it takes another hour and a half to drive to Balus. An early departure from Dehradun means you can probably start your trek from Balus around 13:00 after lunch.
Barsu to Barnala Tal is a short, easy 4 km hike of increasing elevation. It takes less than 3 hours from Barsu to Barnala Meadows. The trail is well maintained for the first 1.5 miles. Day 3: Bakaria Top – Dayara Bugyal – Bakaria Top
Trek – 4 km, 3 hours The most beautiful day of this trek. Continue trekking to explore the longitude and latitude of Dayara Bugyal. Dayara Bugyaluru, which is widely used, shows different expressions depending on the viewing angle. A steep climb to the right brings you to the highest point in the nearby area, Bakaria Top (3810 m).
If you want to see a beautiful sunset from Vacaria Top, bring a packed lunch as you hike to Vacaria Top.
Day 4: Dayara Bugyal – Barnala Valley – Barsu – Uttarkashi – Dehradun –
Trek – 8 km | Drive – 185 km. Don’t miss the amazingly spectacular sunrise at Dayara Bugyal. Say goodbye to the impressive Himalayas and return to Barsu via Barnala Tal. You can reach Barsu village in just 3 hours. If you plan to drive to Dehradun for the day, make sure you leave early.
