The new iMac pro is a culmination of all Apple has to offer. In its current state, it seems like an update on what Apple had to offer with last year’s release of the product. This would be understandable because, with every iteration of a device, there will be incremental changes to previous versions; this holds true for the newest iteration of their flagship desktop. Even so, in recent tests by PCMag and others, the performance in comparison to other desktops has been strong enough that it can even take down some laptops that are currently on the market. It might not be able to keep up with some professional-grade computers that are on the market but considering how much power this machine packs into such a small form factor and at such a reasonable price tag for consumers, you won’t find anything else that comes close.

The design is spot on as always
The design of the Apple iMac Pro is as expected from a high-end Apple product. The aluminum and glass chassis are sleek, and it looks more like a piece of art than a computer. That being said, at 11 pounds, it’s not exactly travel-friendly and might be best for people who don’t frequently move their computers around. Its thin profile coupled with its slick exterior also makes it great for saving desk space if you’re running out of room. In terms of ports, there are four USB-C ports that can be used to connect external devices such as mice or monitors or transfer data.
The downside? You’ll need to invest in adapters if you want to use anything other than a USB-C device. There’s also no HDMI port so your older devices won’t work without an adapter either.

The display of the computer is super sharp
The high-resolution display of the iMac is crisp and sharp. It’s packed with 100% of the P3 color gamut and has over a billion colors. The high pixel density delivers more detail than any other computer in its class. Plus, it comes standard with an AMD Radeon Pro Vega 64 graphics card for running graphics-intensive apps with beautiful cinematic quality. There are also two Thunderbolt 3 ports, four USB 3 ports, HDMI 2.0 port, 10 Gb/s Ethernet port, and an SDXC card slot that allows you to work at incredible speeds.
I would recommend this product because I have been very happy with my purchase so far. My favorite features are a fast speed and a sleek design that still has plenty of room to work on.
