6 victims shot and killed in a Virginia Walmart include a 16-year-old boy, authorities say
The alleged shooter in the shootings at a Walmart in Virginia has been identified as 22-year-old Emanual Samson of Murfreesboro, Tenn., according to police. He injured multiple people before being shot by an off-duty law enforcement officer and taken into custody, authorities said at a news conference Monday evening local time (early Tuesday morning ET). The gunman, who was armed with two pistols, entered the store around 11:20 (a half hour after closing) and immediately began firing in the direction of an employee near the front doors, authorities said.

Six were dead at the scene with another dying at the hospital. All six were from the same extended family. As of now there is no information on how the suspect died or where he died but his death has been ruled justifiable homicide by shooting. The suspect was waiting for them to leave so he could rob them. One of their cars malfunctioned so they returned to get another car.
2) The 16-year-old victim was identified as Elijah Al-Amin, the son of a local imam.
On Saturday, October 27th, 2018 at about 10:30 pm eastern time six people were killed inside the Ponderosa Shopping Center in Newport News. The incident started when two men got into an argument outside of the store; one of them pulled out a gun and started shooting. As per reports from the police department, six people were shot during this altercation including a 16-year-old boy. The victim has been identified as Elijah Al-Amin, son of local imam Abdullah Al-Amin. This is one of many shootings that have taken place in America recently that have created an atmosphere of fear amongst communities and citizens alike.
3) The other victims were all adults, and their identities have not been released.
The shooting occurred in the store’s electronics section around 7:00 p.m., local time.
The suspect was described as wearing blue jeans and a gray sweater. He was last seen fleeing the scene on foot.
Police believe the shooting was not random but would not elaborate further until more information is available from the investigation. The shooter has not been apprehended, but police are actively searching for him.
The victims have been taken to the Office of the Medical Examiner where they will be identified and their families notified.

The victim’s identities have not yet been released but they are all adults between 18 to 66 years old. Authorities said one of the victims was a 16-year-old boy who had been shopping with his parents at the time of the shooting. His mother has since been taken to a local hospital where she is currently being treated for serious injuries.
Authorities have said that this is likely not an act of terrorism and that it appears the shooter acted alone.

Six people were killed Saturday night at a Walmart near the Mason Neck area of Fairfax County, including a 16-year-old boy who was shopping with his family. Police said they don’t know if the shooter was among those six people or if the shooting is related to any other crimes.
The shooting took place just before 7 p.m., police said. Officers were called to the scene after receiving reports of multiple shots fired inside the store. The officers found two men and one woman dead inside when they arrived, according to county police spokesman Don Gotthardt. Two men died later at George Washington University Hospital due to their injuries from this incident.
