How to Log In to Skyward Family Access for FBISD

Rather than creating yet another password to remember, Skyward Family Access lets you use your Fort Bend ISD student’s username and password to log in to view grades, attendance, class notes, and more. To do this, you will need to create an account on the skyward login site and download the app on your phone or computer. Once everything is set up, logging in will be super easy – just remember that if your student’s username has changed since the start of the school year, you will have to update it when you log in!

Click Student Login

After logging in, you will be redirected to the family access dashboard. Here, you can quickly switch from student login or parent login by clicking on the appropriate link. The dashboard is where your child’s academic information and attendance records are located. Each day of the week is color coded and you will be able to navigate with the tabs at the top of the page. There are four options on the right hand side- view your child’s grades/info, calendars, report cards, schedules/enrollment. Clicking any one of these will open up a new window with details specific to that option. If you need help navigating this site, check out the video tutorials available under Parent Resources at the bottom of this page.

Enter your student ID number and last name (without hyphens, capitalization, or dashes).

Once you’ve done that, a window will pop up asking you to enter your login information. You can do this by entering the same student ID number and last name as before. After this, click on Sign in. This will allow you to edit your child’s personal information, view his or her grades, and receive notifications about how they are doing at school. If you have any questions about the process, please feel free to contact us! We would be happy to help. If you’re still having trouble logging in, try logging out of your account first and then clicking Sign In again.

We hope this has been helpful and if not, we’re sorry!

Select the correct campus from the drop-down menu.

Choose a User Name

There are many steps in getting set up and logging in to the system. First, go to the Fort Bend ISD website. Then, look under the Quick Links section of their website and click on Skyward Family Access. This will then take you to the login page where you can select the button that says Sign Up Now. You will be asked if you want a parent account or a student account; choose a parent account. The next page asks you what information is necessary in creating your password. Follow these instructions and create your new password, re-entering it when prompted.

Create Your Password

To log in, type in your username on the first line and enter your password below. To reset a forgotten password, click the Forgot Password? link on the login page and answer a few questions. Remember that you need at least six characters with no more than two numbers. If someone else knows your username and password, it is important to change it so they cannot access your account. Otherwise, they could see or do anything you can do!

A strong password includes letters, numbers, and symbols. Make sure it has at least one uppercase letter (A-Z), one lowercase letter (a-z), one number (0-9) and one symbol (@ # $ % & *).
